The first NDHL workshop took place in Gothenburg, Sweden on December 18th-19th, 2019.

The overall goal of this workshop was to plan the content of a shared stack. This was done through the following program:

  • Identify current national infrastructures that NDHL can leverage
  • Define minimal requirements to NDHL
  • Discuss pilot infrastructure
  • Discuss and update planned activities for 2020

Detailed program:

National State of the Art

National coordinators (Lars Borin, Lars Johnsen, Eetu Mäkelä, Kristoffer L. Nielbo) and data providers (Lars Johnsen, Love Börjeson, Per Møldrup-Dalum) presented a summary of what was available to them in terms of compute and data at a national level.

NDHL Wish List

Each participant presented a short wishlist of what in terms of compute and data would facilitate computational research/digital humanities across the Nordics.

Pilot Infrastructure

How do we communicate and share knowledge during the NDHL pilot study? Are current solutions sufficient and how do we maximize their utility?

NDHL 2020 Activites

Planned activities for 2020 were updated and approved collectively.
